Wee Doggies B&B welcomes small-sized dogs with friendly, well-socialized temperaments.   Because we accept only smaller dogs who share similar energy levels, play styles and personalities, you can rest assured your little one will enjoy safe social and play opportunities without the stressful dynamics of a larger group.

We all know that dogs love nothing better than to spend time with other friendly dogs and people, investigating new sights& smells and engaging in entertaining & stimulating activities. At Wee Doggies, we make sure that our guests fully enjoy their stay with us by always furnishing a friendly, home-like environment and personal attention.

We are located just outside of Eagle River, Alaska -- away from the noisy hustle and bustle of the city.

Overnight Lodging

While offering a positive social environment for the dogs is essential to providing a wholesome boarding experience, giving each dog their own individual "den" during mealtimes and at night for sleeping is just as important. Dogs take great security in having their own cozy den; after a day filled with lots of stimulating activity, dogs crave a den-like security for sleeping, too. Your pet will sleep on thick, comfortable bedding in his/her own bed area.
 
Human Interaction in a Home-Like Environment

We believe that incorporating home-like elements into the boarding environment, along with providing responsible and caring human interaction, is the essence of an enjoyable boarding stay. At Wee Doggies, this occurs naturally since our hostel is also the residence of Don and Donna--the owners--who have two small dogs of their own --a very friendly and sociable Shih-Tzu and a happy and energetic Lhasa Apso/Yorkie.

The Wee Doggies staff plays, feeds and interacts with the guests throughout the day,

with background music soothing both human and canine spirits.
